Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Route 302 in Raymond Friday night.

According to NewsCenter Maine, the crash occurred around 7:30 pm on Roosevelt Trail when 44-year-old Karen Beaulieu smashed into the back of a Toyota Highlander turning onto Raymond Beach Road. Cumberland County Police say Beaulieu’s car flipped onto its side, and the Highlander, driven by a 31-year-old Raymond woman, was “pushed several yards” on Route 302.

The drivers and passenger were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the crash is still under investigation but believe speed, inattention and alcohol may have been factors.
